I am in the learning process of playing fiddle.Been playing for five years. Two years learning on my own,the next three yrs into lessons.I do have a musical background as to why I have taken up violin. As a child I have also taken accordian lessons. Then later on in years I have taken up guitar.Learned alot of chords on my own.Played on stage in the bluegrass festivals.I enjoy music so much.Quite a challenge to learn this fiddle. Take Care.

We first saw you folks just before the second CD came out at a ceilidh in Mabou, and we've been fans ever since. If your webmaster ever sets up an email list for the band, please put us on it. I can't believe you've come to Maine twice this year and we missed you both times!

I just discovered your music and love it!!!
Therefore, I just ordered my 2nd cd, because I love the style in which you play Scottish and Cape Breton music, which are my passions. You guys are awesome!
I'm a fiddler residing in Ohio, and I play primarily Scottish music while I teach myself Cape Breton fiddling. Recently, I was able to study for a week with David Greenburg which was truly an awesome experience. Once a year, I faithfully participate for a week at Jink & Diddle School of Scottish Fiddling, in Valle Crusis, North Carolina under the direction of Dr. John Turner, where we concentrate on 18th century Scottish fiddling music.
It is my goal to spend some serious time in Cape Breton in 2008, where I would have the opportunity to immerse myself in Cape Breton fiddling (as it will be my 50th birthday!). Should you have any suggestions as to when and where I might begin my adventure,I would be greatful for any suggestions as I've not been to Nova Scotia before. If there is an opportunity to see you play, that would be a great plus! I'd love to see and hear you guys in person! Thanks, and be well.

Hey there! I just heard you guys were playing at the Calgary folk fest. I hope to see you there, really looking forward to hearing some real celtic music again. I'm not sure if you know who I am...(I'm Barry Fougere's girlfriend) living in Calgary for a short time. See you around!

Hello all!
Was at the Haverford, Pa. gig. You guys were fantastic! If there would have been more room, more time, and more beer, I'd 've been up and danc'in with ya! Makes me want to play my guitar more often now!
Happy & safe travels back home!
Sincerely,
David

Hello guys!

I was so looking forward to seeing you in Philly, but nowhere was there a mention of where the venue was and when you were playing. I had recruited 10 people to come see you. But when I finally found out where you were playing by emailing Phila. Celili group, I was told 10 people couldn't be accommodated. So I am sorely disappointed as it was going to be my birthday present to myself. I hope I'll see you in Harrisburg on the 25th. Hugs to everyone. * sigh*
