Wendy Mac Isaac began her career at age four as a stepdancer, and went on to take fiddle lessons from Stan Chapman at age twelve. By 1990 she was well established as one of the top new young fiddler/pianists in Cape Breton and was in great demand for dances and festivals.

Wendy has since entertained audiences across Canada, the United States, the UK, Europe and Brazil. She has performed with The Rankin Family, The Barra Mac Neil's, The Cape Breton Summertime Revue, Capercaillie, The Chieftains, Ashley MacIsaac and has toured and recorded with Mary Jane Lamond for six years.

She has recorded three solo albums and has taught stepdancing at festivals and workshops around the world.
